Holiday voucher

Since 1 January 2019 you can use the holiday allowance from the employer up to € 275.

Conditions for application of the holiday voucher:

• Every employer employing more than 49 employees is obliged to provide the employee with a holiday allowance - the so-called recreation/holiday voucher in the amount of 55% of eligible expenditures, max. however, in the amount of € 275 per year.
• Employers employing less than 50 employees have an option to provide a recreation/holiday voucher voluntarily as an employee benefit.
• An employee who has worked in the company for at least 2 years iseligible for the voucher.
  The allowance is exempt from taxes and levies.
• The holiday voucher may be used by the person to whom it was issued or by his/her family members participating in the recreation activities with the employee (a spouse, partner, children, parents living in one household). It must be used by the end of the calendar year in which it was issued, otherwise it will be forfeited.
• The voucher can also be used to cover the costs of overnight or day holiday camps for employees´ children.
• The holiday voucher can be used only in the Slovak territory for the purpose of tourism services associated with accommodation for a minimum of 2 nights, which may also include catering services, wellness or other services including relaxation and recreation.
• If you wish to apply a holiday voucher in our facility, please notify the reception desk when booking. You can pay the full amount at the hotel reception. After payment we will issue a tax document containing: Your name, date of your stay and price for the stay. You will present this document to your employer no later than 30 days after your stay, upon which the employer will pay the holiday allowance to you.

Our reception will help you calculate the price of your stay and provide you with information about our services.

* If you have purchased a stay at our hotel through a travel agency, the travel agency will issue a document for the employer to apply the holiday voucher.
